David Doyle Announces for Beebe School Board

David Doyle of Beebe is one of two people running for the vacant seat on the Beebe School Board.

David and His family have lived in Beebe since 2006 after moving here from Memphis, TN.  He is originally from Memphis but grew up in GA and NC.  He is a 1988 graduate of Arkansas State University in Jonesboro with a BA in Marketing.  

David's wife of 27 years is Cathy (nee Gibbs) Doyle of Tucker AR.  She is a 1986 graduate of UCA and holds a MS in Nuclear Science and Engineering from LSU.  

David has worked in the transportation insustry for 30 years.  For the past 16 years he has been the Director of Logistics for the Bryce Corporation.  He offices in Searcy.

David and Cathy have two children.  Their son, Joshua, will be in 6th grade at McRae this coming school year.  Their daughter, Winter, will be in 10th grade at Beebe.

David and Cathy are active members of Union Valley Baptist Church.  They work in children's church, vacation bible school, AWANA, and other children's ministries.

They have been actively involved in their children's schools through WATCHDOG DAD and other activities.  

"I have had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with the kids of Beebe.  I have a stong calling to serve them and the community and I believe the school board is a very important way I can do so."

The election will be held Tuesday, September 19.  The local poling place is the Beebe Church of Christ on Center Street.
